Failure To Surrender License
So I just got a ticket for failure to surrender my license however in part 3 of the section (33) it says that giving your address and name is reasonable identification. I gave him my name and date of birth and address when I was first pulled over so why would I get a ticket if I provided what the traffic act says is reasonable identification? Is there a chance I would be able to get this thrown out if I bring my license to the courthouse?
Failing to have your licence and failing to identify yourself are two separate offences. The section you're looking at explains what information you must provide police with when you don't have your licence. It doesn't nullify the actual offence of not having your licence with you.

Thanks, I figured but thought it couldn't hurt to try
I would still plead NOT GUILTY and request a Trial with the officer present. Once you get your notice of trial, request disclosure (officers notes).
Once you get disclosure, post it back here for us to take a look at.
Can you scan and post the original ticket (with personal info blacked out) so we can check for fatal errors on the ticket?
