It's up to the officer. The driver is always responsible for their vehicle....

Yes, whenever I drive someone else's car I conduct a thorough check of all mechanical and safety systems (including crawling underneath) before I run down to the store :?


Yes I'm being sarcastic :roll:


A $10 fix-it ticket would be the normal choice of OUR local PD.

Just saying it's up to the cop. Besides, I've seen you drive and nobody I know will let you drive their cars...... :D
