Expiration Date For Stunt Driving Fine?

by: Wouterw on

Hi,

Im charged for stunt driving 4 years ago but I dont live in Canada and never paid my fine.

Is there an expiration date for this kind of fines?

They gave me a fine around $6000 and I want to return to Canada but dont want to pay…

Hope someone can advise me about expiration time of this level of speeding ticket.

Thanks!

Wouter from Holland.

add to that, fail to pay the fine will put you into an suspended driver status on top of the fine

If you didn't have an Ontario licence when you were convicted, they created a DL number for you at the time. Because you didn't pay the fine you are a suspended driver in Ontario, regardless of whether you have a valid licence from another Province, State or country.
