Improper Turn

Unread post by Know Thyself »

I have just found this forum and for the record police are most often precise and carefl about the allegations.

I now have a proceed contrary sign intersection allegation which cites a section of the act. Section 144(9)which is makig a right or left turn where it is signed not to.

Signs

(9) The provisions of this section are subject to any sign, as prescribed by the regulations, forbidding a left turn, right turn, through movement or combination thereof that is posted at an intersection and every driver shall obey every such sign. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 144 (9).

I cannot find the regulations for the signs which describe how and where to be posted

anyone know

For any sign to be valid, it has to comply with O. Reg 615 - which sets the standard for road signs used in Ontario.
