15 Over In A 50 Zone, Should I Fight It?

by: phin1525 on

I was doing 75 in a 50 zone, 50 meters before the zone changed to 80 km. I was pulled over at the 80 begins sign ironicly. The ticket was droped to 15 km over so no point loss.

It's not ticket cost that bothers me its the long term insurance price that im concerned about.

I have filed for a trial date and wondering if its worth fighting?

Im hoping to get radar gun info for my defence.

Was also thinking is it not reasonable to be going that speed antispating entering a 80 zone?

There are no safety issure, it took place on a 4 lane hiway, this was simply a place where police sit to make up there quotas and fill up city coffers.

any suggestions?

Keep in mind... the Prosecutor can file a motion to amend the speed back up to 75 in a 50 zone if it goes to trial.
