Custom Built Bikes

by: LeafsChopper on

hi everyone, new here, thought i would fire off a question. i just moved to Ontario and i have a custom bike i built myself. it has aftermarket pipes of course because the entire bike is aftermarket.

i was told that even if my bike isn`t loud i can get a ticket because the pipes aren`t stamped with the bike company name on them. ie harley davidson on the pipes of a Harley. my bike is registered as a UBilt chopper.....

so is it true that i can get a ticket?

cheers

Lloyd

The pipes need to have baffles to reduce the noise. Look under the equipment section of the OHTA for full answers.

True.

Keep in mind straight pipes, cut out exhaust etc will get ya ticketed and in many jurisdictions towed.

Keep the noise down and life will be good.
