Broken Head Light Cover

Unread post by Xulander »

I know it is illegal to drive with a broken headlight but what if the light bulb still works and its just the headlight cover that's smashed?? cuz i'm thinking of just supergluing all the pieces together lol.

You could get a defective ticket, but I doubt it. However, it is your paint job....

They might let it go if you have a clear cover, but the optics may be messed up if you have a cover that doubles as the lens to direct light.

Then again, I see too many cars with one headlight pointed into oblivion (i.e., my eyes!), so it may not be a big deal.
