Bus Music..

You are on the bus when you suddenly realize… you need to fart.

The music is really loud, so you time your farts with the beat.

After a couple of songs, you start to feel better as you approach your stop.

As you are leaving the bus, people are really staring you down, and thats when you remember ............

youve been listening to your ...

Re: Failure to Obey sign - Disclosure-Need help

We do not have video, but maybe something like our communication centre, lines are taped and only kept for a certain period of time then are used over again.

Or like most businesses that have video, they record a video and it is recorded over again. Some are continuous 24hr recording loops.

If nothing happens, not really a need to keep videos ...

Re: Fail to obey signs when passing an OPP cruiser

Out of curiosity... how many times have you been driving along in a marked cruiser and had a driver rocket up behind you and blow past you without changing speed at all? How about on a two-lane highway?

About once a month in the winter.....daily in the summer (when I become an "evil knievel")

2 lane hwy rarely in a marked car...maybe ...

Re: Fail to obey signs when passing an OPP cruiser

I put myself in the cops shoes in an attempt to understand his actions:
- Fantino has publicly stated that his officers are expected to obey every speed limit and set an example for this new era of "slower is safer".

Put it this way, I will always be within 15km/hr of the posted limit unless a fellow officer needs assistance and that is it. 90 ...

Re: Shady business at court lately

But what you also have to remember is that when you write someone a ticket youre doing something quite annoying to them..

Very easy solution to prevent that annoying ticket.....simply pay attention and read the signs and will never ever be stopped aside from the odd RIDE program.

Something as the "alledged" speed traps in zone changes.....I ...

Re: Shady business at court lately

Shady things....I see lots of them....not on the prosecutors part either!!

Shady things I see:
- I show up and then the person asks for an adjournment
- person does not show, gets convicted then get a re-opening
- person speaks fine (easily understands and speaks fluently) at road side, now plays the need an interpreter thing to get an adjournment ...

Police Jurisdiction = none

An OPP, Municipal Officer, First Nations Officer, CN Officer, CP officer can enforce all laws ANYWHERE in the Province.

RCMP is sworn in Canada wide.

Re: HTA172 and police conduct

The cruiser was not "run through radar" to confirm that the speedometer was in fact working properly.

Let's replace Constable Tapp with a civilian in a similar situation. OPP officer in unmarked vehicle follows speeder and does not have radar, verifies speed by following said vehicle and using speedometer only. Is the observation by following ...

Re: HTA172 and police conduct

Not to mention that case does not have radar/lidar involved. The cruiser was not "run through radar" to confirm that the speedometer was in fact working properly. There was no "black box" download from the cruiser to obtain a speed either. So without any evidence to confirm the visual observation...what do we have? no evidence!

Nothing to do with ...
