Those spots are for those medically who can not walk great distances OR fire departments to save a life!

Do some cities allow disabled permit holders to park in fire routes, or are you referring to parking tickets in general?

just referring to those 2 types of spots (fire and disabled). I have many words that are not suitable for here that ...

Re: My Red Light ticket was dismissed

Anyway when the judge entered the room, the prosecutor tries to first clear out the court room by calling forward those who plead guilty. The court had about 50 people present. I was then the last person left in the courtroom. When it was my turn to come forward, I was surprised that the prosecutor instead asked the judge for a 5 minute recess ...

Re: fail to surrender insurance card!!!

you were issued an offence notice for "fail to surrender insurance card". Either you surrendered a valid card or not.

"IF" you were charged with "operate motor vehicle no insurance" or "permit operation of motor vehicle no insurance" then a letter from the company would matter if you had valid insurance. ** both of these offences would be a ...

Re: blue lights

When seeing the blue and red activated at night the blue is dominant, but during the day the red is dominant.

Think the main arguement is that police around the world use BLUE. So for a tourist, immigrant etc...to any country and you see flashing blue you know it is the police, even if you can not read the lettering on the vehicle.

The biggest ...

Re: blue lights

Previous to the change, Ontario was the only Province without the blue/red configuration. All marine units were completely blue.

Globally, blue is recognized as a police vehicle.

There are still a few areas in the USA that still have red only....think NY is one of them

Think Ontario is only one that still allows "gov't" snow plows to use blue.

more and more courts are going to this system that you can not mail in to request a trial, but must show up in person.
