Just lie and said your not sure why you go the ticket and that the sticker was on there.
As long as your receipt has a time stamp BEFORE the ticket, they'll cancel it

Re: Disclosure Decode!
Not sure if someone wants to chime in and see if I am under the grounds for an appeal, but I had my Trial today and one of my questions to the officer were "do you think or know if the laser unit gives false readings?" and he answered NO. I tried to pin him on that fact that the manual clearly indicates there could be a false reading of variance of +/- 2kmh. On top of that, because he was on the side of the road, and not directly infront, the "Cosine effect" also alters the speed reading therefore the laser unit produced in-accurate or false readings and that my speed could...

Re: Convicted 2X for IMPROPER LEFT w/o NOTICE OF TRIAL
True there are plenty of signs prohibiting turns during rush hour time frames and the rationale for such signs are clear for managing traffic but to provide a sign such as the one located at Davenport Rd. and Belmont St has no real useful application (i.e. safety, traffic congestion, etc.) to me. Why would a NO LEFT TURN sign be needed to prohibit a left turn into Belmont St. from Davenport Rd. during off-peak traffic hours namely a NO LEFT TURN between 10 PM to 7 AM from MON to FRI. Yet NO restrictions during high-peak traffic rush-hour time frames?! Why only restrict left turns during the &...

Question, if OP goes to court, then the charge reverts back to stunt driving?

Re: Is this legal (Lighting)?
Im not lawyer ... but in the ONTARIO HTA, it doesn't indicate anything along the lines of "in addition" to transport Canada laws. I remember checking MANITOBA HTA, and it was clearly stated unlike Ontario

Are blue solid lights in the front legal?
Example:
http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4 ... ?locale=en
I also found some notes under Q5 that say SOLID blue lights are ok, they just cannot be flashing. Not sure how legit this site it though - http://swscanada.com/pages/BlueLightsOntario.html
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Re: At what age does parental responsibility end
Wow that was like 15 days after the court date?
I feel bad for you since it seems like you dont want anything thing to do with your son and he gets into these situations, but I'm also glad your son got caught before he could do some real damage like get into an accident not at fault, or at fault. If he ran over someone, and they are injured for life he would get sued for 100k+ and he would have no life anymore.
How did he buy the car anyways?

Re: notice of fine and due date
Yes, I did fill out a form to get a court date. Can I have them re-open the case then file for a section 11?
Yes, this is a parking ticket. That's why its under the parking section.

notice of fine and due date
I recently received a letter indicating I have been convicted of a parking ticket.
Offence Date: Sep 29, 2009
Conviction Date: Apr 08, 2011.
Due Date: May 8th. 2011
The thing was, I was going to apply for section 11B, but I never got my court date to begin with. Anything I can do about this?
thanks

Re: 77 on 50km/h - Orangeville
Court day is tomorrow, and I just got my 2nd request via mail.
They did not provide the unit serial number / test logs. It was a handheld radar gun that was used and apperently has it's own test feature according to the manual. Can I quiz the officer how he tested the unit, and quote the manual if provided completely different testing method?
The model is Radar Genesis VP Directional
It seems i have a good chance of winning hoping this officer doesn't remember anything at all and he has really bad notes ...

2nd request sent ... probably won't get back to me before my trial which in about a week's time
Can the JP find me incompetent for not following instructions because the prosecutors office has indicated they do not mail disclosure requests?
