Re: HELP WITH THIS PLEASE!!!!!

Write down EVERYTHING you can remember about the whole day. The officer is going to have to pick a sub-section to nail you on. Since he was in his civilian vehicle it wasn't speed..........and waiting for you it had to be more then spinning your tires

Re: Bad Drivers?

I know 'bear, normal speed of traffic means the speed limit, but still.....we need a rewrite.

I agree we need a rewrite. Something like "Fail to drive in right hand lane, except while actively passing" or "Driver failing to move right for motor vehicle approaching from rear at greater speed"

Then think would have to take out speed altogther ...

Re: HELP WITH THIS PLEASE!!!!!

On a bad note, you're out a G for sure (towing+impound) and you'll never be able to get that money back. Also he could be a scripter in which case he'll write a very nice story for his court appearance and the disclosure package.
If he's stupid enough to be honest about it, the manner in which you have been caught could possibly put enough holes ...

Re: Bad Drivers?

Those who drive with little or no respect for those behind them are real dangers on the road. Rear view mirrors seam to be but a useless ornament for many motorists. They don't give a *EDIT* about the line of cars behind them. Why should they? They're obeying the law after all.

So I'm driving home on Friday and low and behold there's a pokey ...

Re: Interesting article about court appearances. Opinions?

I do not think Canada should get involved with anything outside our borders involving courts/justice.

I also do not think Canadian should spend a dime outside our borders until every last citizen here has a roof over their head, food, water, treatment facilities for health etc...and finally settle all the land claim issues.

Bring our military ...

How the heck are we supposed to be able to do anything in our adult lives if we aren't given the opportunity to learn how to be responsible as youths?

Re: 186 km/hr on the Gardiner

We heard about 250 on the 400 and 186 on the Gardiner.....those are big number for public roads......We have not heard about all the S.172 charges....and we don't need to. The fact that some officers have been charged with this is somewhat news worthy.......do we need all the details, mmmmm, no. Should we know if somebody is a repeat offender, yes ...

Re: Bad Drivers?

HSD....we do not add any more cars on for the weekends in this area, that would not be fiscally responsible.

That would be new for a government office. Fiscal responsibility=military intelligence=Weapons of mass destruction=

I know it sounds weird, but we just can't call in workers on OT just b/c it is a long weekend.

Well Fantino's ...

Re: Fines - Laser Detectors & Laser Jammers

Mine did. Shocked Granted I was one of the first people to go through this graduated licensing thingy, took my G1 written 14 years ago, got the full G-license 12 years ago, so maybe they changed the rules. Confused

I had a 365....took drivers ed....then my license, got one thing "wrong" when I let the pedestrian cross the street, no 4-series ...
