Are you saying that a full G driver with multiple years of driving experience can blow an orange and not get suspended?

Re: Withdraw of case for not able to provide Video evidence

What makes you think there actually is a video evidence?
Unless the officer explicitly mentioned to you that he has you on video, the prosecution does not need to produce such evidence and the officer's testimony will suffice.
Not that long ago there was no dash cams and people did get tickets and were found guilty based on what the officer ...

Re: Radar Manual- No tuning forks and No tracking history

I can assure you, that book is correct and nothing has changed.
I am a calibration manager by profession and I do work on electronic equipment on a daily basis, all electronic measuring equipment are subject to drift and require regular calibration and adjustments to meet published specs.
The reason that part of the manual was removed is because ...

Re: Police refuses to charge (175)

I just like to thank everyone for their input and advice...

I guess I'll be calling my local councilor, hope he can help.
I too had to chuckle at the "falling rake" story, but it is not something I would do myself.

I always teach my kids to be responsible, I tell them to assume the driver of the car approaching is a very bad one or a careless one ...

Police refuses to charge (175)

OK, this is a very different post from the usual ones we see and I am hoping it will not cost me my account...

I live in a neighbourhood with too many aggresive drivers, lets not name the area or the local police deprtment.

The issue I have is that, although I have personally reported the licence plate of driver who failed to stop for a school ...

Re: She has take photo of my licence plate

She can provide the info to the car owner and stand as a witness and if you do not come forward and resolve the issue, it can reported as a hit and run.
Then the officer will contact you and charge you based on eye witness testimony.
I saw a car back into a car as he was trying to get out of his parking spot, damaged the front end of the other ...

Re: Plate Covers

I doubt any officer would pull over a driver for a plate that hardly covers anything, unless he/she committed another offence and has been pulled over for it, then the officer may decide to slap on a second charge as well.
Lets face it, police officers are not out there just to give drivers a hard time, contrary to popular believe, but the do have ...

Re: Use plate not authorized for vehicle

The first question should be, what were you smoking to transfer plates onto a vehicle without properly registering them with MTO?
Second question, how did your insurance company cover you since they check (or should have) and your plates did not match the vehicle on file?
This is what criminals do on get away stolen vehicles for all kinds of ...

Re: Fail to drive in marked lane Reported by 3rd party

About 15 yrs ago I was involved in a road rage incident.
At the time the other driver had a cell phone and I did not, so he called OPP and filed a complaint, even though he started the entire chain of events, which I won't get into.
He followed me to my workplace and still on the phone reported my location and then left. Few minutes later an ...

Re:

On second thought, you are clearly writing some excellent English, seems like you are making a mockery of the justice system by asking for something you don't require to have a fair trial.

Why not just ask for a binary translator and just show up making a lot of beeping sounds?

Canada's two official languages are French and English...you are in ...

Re: My experience at Queen St court house

A couple points on the original post:

1) Both the crown and the officer were wrong, the maximum find you're looking at under a part 1 prosecution if it goes to trial is $500. The set fine is irrelevant - once it goes to trial the penalty is entirely in the hands of the JP, subject to statutory minimums and maximums - the maximum in this case ...

Re: My experience at Queen St court house

Two minutes later he came back and asked if I had my ticket, I gave it to him and he said "I go with the last 3 digits, looks like I got the wrong book"
I was not sure what that meant, then he went on to say it is better for you, I said "I'm not sure what that means" playing dumb, this is when he tells me that he does not have his evidence and he ...

How to get officer's testemony discqualified

OK, so if the officer does not show up you get to walk, which means if you can get his/her testimony/statements nullified officer's presence is irrelevant.
Now, lets assume you ask him/her a question to which he/she provides a wrong answer to, how do you go from there asking the JP to disqualify his/her testimony since he just provided falls ...
