Re: Ontario U-Turns, Right of way and the accident
There's not enough information here. What traffic controls are there at the intersection? What the layout of the intersection? What colour are the traffic lights if there are any?

I am not associated with the company and I know of no online source for the current manuals.
Annual calibration is not required in Ontario. Only after a major repair is it required.

R v Chair and R v Vancrey plus others speaks to testing. Both are OCA decisions.
Most courts rely on what the testing procedure says in the manual. Some say it's not necessary for a test after. It all depends on what make and model are being used. Even then I have seen some leeway in some of the testing required, depending on the type of radar.

They aren't permitted to do this under HTA 144(29). Cyclist -ride in a crosswalk. They must dismount and walk the bicycle. $110 fine

You'd also have to check for any local bylaws. Some cities prohibit roller blades from being on a sidewalk. Just as bicycles are in most areas.

Nothing happens. The Provincial Offences Act allows a ticket issued in one jurisdiction be dealt with at a court in an adjoining jurisdiction And those cities are both in the Regional Municipality of Peel.

Re: When can I have my drivers License Reinstated
I would say that after the 30 days has been served, you can have it reinstated. That would be the 5th. This all depends on what the suspension letter said, and your possible actions after you received it. Some suspensions only start after you've surrendered your licence to a licensing office.

Re: Can I make a uturn on a red light if it is safe to do so?
If you read the section listed it says you can turn to the left from a one way street into a one way street.
The street your on is not one way. Even if there's a median.
And turning to the left, is a 90 degree turn, not a 180 degree.
The charge would be either Red light- proceed before green or Red light- fail to stop. Both $325 and 3 demerit ...

I'm just wondering how you could have a red light that's not at an intersection. Perhaps give us the location to look at via google maps.

Re: Could you please advise how to file for an appeal from Ottawa?
The appeal court for a provincial office wouldn't be in Toronto for a trial heard in Ottawa. Go back to the court where the trial took place and ask for a Notice of Appeal. You only have 30 days from the trial decision to file an appeal.
Also read the document that you've linked, it will give you an idea if you even have grounds to appeal.

Re: HTA section 85.1 CVOR Truck and Trailer tickets
Forget about the term CVOR. Section 85(1) has nothing to do with it. You've been charged with: Operate vehicle-fail to display device.
Annual inspections are required when alone or in combination your truck and trailer have a total gross weight, registered gross weight or manufacturers gross vehicle weight rating is more than 4500 kg.

Re: Does an Ontario license suspended in quebec for unpaid fines affect driving in Ontario
Not only just pulled over, but charged with driving under suspension. Not quite sure what the fine is in Quebec. Ontario fine is not less than $1000 and a mandatory further 6 month suspension..
