The Law Society of Upper Canada sets the rules regulating representation. I believe it's lawful to represent someone as long as you don't charge for the service and your primary occupation isn't related to the legal field. I'd check their website and read through the act covering representation to be sure.julietsierratango wrote:I have also started helping my friends fight speeding tickets, but as I am not a registered paralegal, lawyer, or any other type of certified law professional I am not sure if I am allowed to be doing this.
I've seen your posts around and they have been helpful!
