My son was stopped in Nov 2009. He had a G1 and passenger a G2. Charged with "improper class of licence" and "class G2 alcohol in blood". No breath test, no walk in a straight line test. Police asked if anyone was drinking. He drove as he had not been drinking, but passenger admitted he had. Licence was suspended for 3 months (violation of novice driver conditions). Insurance views this as the worst thing you can do, yet also, do not understand the charges. Can you clarify?
