Can I Get My Licence Reinstated Before The 4 Day Period
I'm in a bit of a situation. I sent my payment into the City of Toronto (they say that they recieved it late) for a ticket that i had and they slapped me with an additional $20 fee for it being late (I was given no notice of the additional $20). So my licence has now been suspended, i went to the court office near my work not the court office this ticket is related to, to pay the additional $20. They suggested I call the supervisor at the other location (where the ticket originates from) but i haven't received any response from him. They say it will take 4 business days and as Christmas is approaching this will continue to be suspended until at least next thursday (afeter Christmas). This means I won't be able to see my family for the holidays, is there any way to expedite the process to have it reinstated sooner? A call or a letter confirming the full payment stating the lift of the suspension so i can pay this reinstatement fee? I feel sick about this.
