Id suggest hiring someone to represent you. Youre looking at a $5,000 fine if convicted. Saying insurance was too expensive is NOT a defence in Court. Alternatively try meeting with the Prosecutor on the first say and see if they're willing to offer you a deal to a less serious offence.
