Have you recently changed addresses or is the address on your licence exactly where you live right now? Did you really get your notice of trial in the mail and you or someone else put the envelope aside in a rush and forget about it?
It's not a huge deal. Go to the court and reopen the case. You need to tell them why you are reopening the case ...

Re: Disclosure Question
As has been stated, a roadside trial or parking lot trial isn't how you deal with issues. This is done in court. Disclosure will show the evidence that will be presented at trial. Where he was will not have a factor on the fact a charge was laid as I have investigated hundreds of collisions and only witnessed two. That doesn't stop charges from ...

Re: Need Direction about getting license back
You can get it back under certain circumstances without the fines being paid. Go tell your story why you didn't pay your fines. Hopefully you have made an effort to at least make payments as it shows you care.

I can't say what you saw on your first blow because neither can you but my best guess is the machine rebooted maybe due to the plug conin loose in the cigarette lighter. The second blow most likely said E0 which would look like 03 upside down because you weren't blowing long enough. The F was a fail.

Re: Speeding ticket
The first reaction when someone sees a cop is hit the brakes then check their speed. Therefore the speed seen isn't the original speed at the time of incident. This works for most drivers even if they argue it doesn't.

Re: Speeding ticket
I love when people argue about their speed and say "no I was only going 50" and when you call their bluff and give them a ticket for 50 they still want to try and get out of it. Mind you if it obviously says 2012 and not just kinda looks like it then there may be an issue.

Ticket looks good and no errors there. You can always choose option two and see if the speed will be reduced further but since it was at roadside it may not be reduced more by the prosecutor.

It's your choice. You can choose option 2 an if not happy with the discussion go to trial. If you look at other posts about the same topic you will find that most people charged with the offence. Many people swear they stopped but when shown the video if there is one it shows something different.

Re: Cycling - Car bumped me into a concrete post
If you look at 150(1)(a) it states the vehicle is about to turn left or has signaled to turn left. At no point has it been mentioned that the vehicle is turning so it's clearly the cyclists fault. The vehicle was in his lane and driving properly.

Just because you haven't received disclosure doesn't mean they are not going to run the trial. Have nobody show up and watch the conviction appear on you record.

I don't know if its possible to request the form that is filled out for the drivers licence review. You must state the reason why you believe the driver is a hazard and give an explanation. You could also try filing a freedom of information request regarding this with the police service. Abuse of this review puts a bad name on those of use that use ...

After the seven days have passed you can go to the ministry and get your licence back after paying a $150 reinstatement fee and you can get your car back after paying the impound fees for the seven days. Nothing will get anything back sooner.

This is just a rant and no way advice. How about people take responsibility for their actions. You drink and drive, you get caught, you pay the price. If its a straight to the point saying "I'm not doing the test" and the only defense is the grounds of the vehicle stop and demand, stop trying to find mistakes in procedure and waste courts time ...

Many people do make honest mistakes but not meaning to do something doesn't give you an excuse. Going to trial and admitting you were in that lane and solo is admitting guilt. So unless it didn't happen the way you said then then charge is not going to disappear.

I would go to early resolution and see if they'd go with #1 and drop the other two. Charge #2 is iffy unless the police vehicle was further down the road then the picture is being painted.

Re: failure todrive in a marked lane charge after crash
Classic case of follow too close. If the person in front of you avoided a collision by whatever means and you couldn't do so with that extra car length now given to you, I would even stretch this to careless. So those who think points are important, careless has six, follow too close has four, and fail to drive in marked lane has three.
