This didn't happen to be in Burlington, did it? I saw a very similar situation there, I think it was on Wednesday.
No, KW area.
Even on this forum i found a couple of simillar situations.

Re: Roadblock question
If he's only blocking the left lane, a driver could make the argument that it appeared the officer was only trying to prevent left turns, not all traffic. There's also the wording of subsection 134(3), where it says "intentional disobedience." There appears to be nothing intentional in your actions. Inadvertent, perhaps, but not intentional.

I came to a red light at an intersection where a police cruiser was blocking the left lane just past the intersection by parking across it. The right lane was still open. 200-300 meteres down the road was what appeared to be an accident.

I also heard that security guards shouldnt touch you if the alarm on the exit went off as they may be charged with assault, wrongful imprisonment or even kidnapping. Thats why I never stop when that happens to me. Although I saw a security guy at LCBO handcuff a guy with booze in his pockets and I see all the time security guards dragging ...

I wonder if they could also use something like impeding the work of an officer or obstruction of justice
I know some states like MD have a law that prohibits flashing headlights.

That's a lot of tickets and a dumb situation altogether.

Child restraint system / booster seat
My son is almost 3 years old now. I was moving to a new place a few weeks ago, and I took the car seat out of the car as i was moving some things in it. Once I was done, I went to pick up my son and forgot to put the seat back in. Luckily no one saw my son in the back seat and reported me. I saw the video below before so I wasn't worried and my son ...

A friend of mine got a ticket for parking at visitor parking in front of the building where I live (apparently you have to write down your license plates each time you do that). I wanted to go to court for him to dissmiss the ticket.
Is there a sample form that he has to sign so I could represent him?

I went today into court, pleaded guilty with explanation. The judge was the nicest person and she suspended the fine meaning I get my conviction but don't have to pay any fine. So 2 dollars for the parking in front of the court house and 110 dollars in my pocket saved.

For a long time in Europe all the radars have a video screen, no need to prove much, the video recording will show exactly who the laser hit.

estimating speed can easily be done at night....have to remember that police do this every single shift (day/night) and that is from day one on the road.
Once you estimate a speed, radar can confirm your observations with a number value.

Plead guilty with an explanation is still pleading guilty. What is your permit signed with? Pencil? Usually the cops would let you sign that permit and be done with that.

Failure to sign permit in ink - $110 fine.
I figured pleading not guilty is the same as saying it was signed which is stupid. A friend of mine told me I could plead guilty with explanation and try to get the fine reduced when I come in.
Can anyone comment on this, is this true at all?

Are police officers allowed to just drive around with their radar on or there are instructions that an officer must first get a visual estimate and then confirm the speed with a reading? It seems impossible to estimate and then take reading travelling at night in the opposite direction.
