Was always wondering what happens if u claim u never got it on your windshield, which means you have never been served which means you cannot be convicted...but something tells me that doesn't apply to parking tickets otherwise everyone would claim they never got them))) Anyone has any knowledge on that subject ...

Re: Penalties for speeding
Noone ever let me go without a ticket. The best they can do is lower the speed that they caught you with. Once they stopped me, gave me the ticket and to a person who was travelling beside me even though the officer told me he only measured my speed. I mean what proof is there that the car beside me had the same speed??? It just assumed it. No ...

Approaching stopped emergency vehicle
159.1 (1) Upon approaching an emergency vehicle with its lamp producing intermittent flashes of red light or red and blue light that is stopped on a highway, the driver of a vehicle travelling on the same ...

Re: Penalties for speeding
What evidence would the crown normally provide in a speeding trial - is it just the officer being a witness or they normally have a photograph from the radar device that shows the car with licence plate visible and the speed?

Re: Correction for posting, is this law 6 years old
Makes no sense. They want to be safer on the side of the road by making other people jump up a lane endangering others! Slowing down should be enough, using extra caution should be enough. I would simply stand up in court ant say "I did not consider changing lanes safe, so I slowed down as required by law". And let them prove that it was in fact ...
