Hi, I was charged Highway Traffic Act 182(2), disobey sign, at Queen Street West and Soho Street. I read a lot online, and seems like I can have my charge reduced to a by-law infraction, (by-law No. 32-92, I am not sure which section). I don't mind paying as long as the charge does not go onto my driving record so my insurance won't go up. Do I need to have the by-law printed with me when I go to court in order to bargain with the prosecutor? What will the process be like if I want to bargain? What should I say to the prosecutor about this? Where can I find the information I need, I can't seem to find relevant info online? Thanks !!
