Guidelines For Submitting Video Evidence?

Unread post by HiGloss »

We are living in the age of digital video. HD 720p and 1080p CRYSTAL CLEAR Video. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a million.

I had video evidence for a case but it was not accepted. I apparently did not submit it properly/ at the right time. Despite this I had my ticket quashed, and I am not quite sure as to why. Regardless of that I would like to know what the official stance on video is now that it is possible to record every second of your driving, with resolution so fine that even licence plates are legible.

Please explain proper procedure as to how to submit video.

Thanks

I believe it's because they think we also live in the age of Photoshop... :D

I like that response but, it's hard to photoshop a video, plus you, well usually you for our cases, have to swear to the validity of evidence submitted. I would like to know this too. Any other Mod/knowledgable person got something on this?

What reason did they give for excluding the video evidence?

They said that I didn't submit it at the correct time.

I mentioned that I had a video when I was up on the stand.
