ponyboyt wrote: What about case history? I have a lot. I figured make 4 copies? Will JP and procecuter want a copy?
if the cases your are presenting are not familiar to the JP or prosecution they will require copies and then most likely take a recess to review the material.

Refer yourself as "I". Do not show anything before the trial. Show your picture only during the trial. Anything you tell the prosecutor before the trial can be used against you. They will prepare themselves for your questions.

Once you want to enter the evidence of the picture before the court, the JP will ask if the prosecution has had an ...

Re: subject: Highway speeding

I appologize for the seemingly random question, but would I be allowed to post the hand written noted of the police office I received as part of the disclosure.

I ask, because some short hand is hard to read and understand and I am hoping for your assistance in understanding them.

thank you

you can do that provided no officer name or badge is ...

Re: Pedestrian deaths spike in GTA

I see the non-chalent approach of pedestrians all the time, red stop hand comes up and they still proceed. Or light turns green and pedestrians just start walking, not noticing the stop hand is still up as vehicle turns are commencing.

I don't know is the pedestrian crossings with the second timer on it helps or not? (see those in Florida)

Re: Revisit Stop Sign

If O Reg 615 (7) were to be interpreted as you suggest, then the appropriate charge would be under HTA 163 (2) (stop sign at a railway crossing).
With that picture, I would agree with 163(2).

Reg. 63/06, s. 1. (th e italicized part) was added to O Reg 615 to cover stop signs erected at railway crossings as opposed to stop signs at intersections ...

Re: History of Tickets Issued [PON] at Location and Disposition

i do not think it is possible as the information is too vague on the tickets.

The only time a cross reference (2nd road) is sometimes, not always placed on a ticket is when it is intersection related.

A place where officers could be is due to traffic complaints, or personal preference. (ie: I like to be mobile as much as possible over 60km of the ...

Re: Revisit Stop Sign

Looking at R.R.O. 1990, REGULATION 615 it states:

7. A stop sign shall be erected on the right side of the highway, facing approaching traffic, at a point not less than 1.5 metres and not more than 15 metres from the intersecting roadway or the nearest rail at a railway crossing. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 615, s. 7; O. Reg. 63/06, s. 1.

So the stop ...

Re: 13(2) Obstructed number plate violation - need advice

I have issued the offence before for obstructed plate by attachments (box thing covering plate and a winch covering a plate). It is an easy offence to find in the summer months with all the bicycles hanging over the rear plates (just saying, have not issued that)

Re: Disobeying signs 182(2) (Steeles and Kennedy)

on google maps for EB driving on Steele at Kennedy it appears that there is:
- designated left turn lane (left arrow markings on pavement)
- Lane 1
- Lane 2
- designated right turn lane (right arrow markings on pavement PLUS a right hand turn sign only)

Re: Disobeying signs 182(2)

I just got a ticket today at Steeles and Kennedy for the sign "right lane must turn right"
What Municipality is this in? What direction were you travelling?

but the centre lane wasn't moving, as there was a red light, so couldn't cut back in. there were two cars in front of me, and a couple of cars behind, and I didn't want to stop to block ...
