Re: First speeding ticket will my insurance increase?

thats true, but the term "accident forgiveness" which you sometimes pay an extra premium is for at fault accidents not traffic tickets.
And also the forgiveness is ONLY for that company at renewal,
if you have AF and change companies, its not valid.

I know this because I asked around ;)

Re: on the news; license plate covers - ILLEGAL da daaaaa

Oh another question, you can get the neon license plate surrounds,

Are these illegal too ?

OR more to the point, (officers on the board) if you saw a car with that on, driving safely etc, would you give it a tug?

Re: on the news; license plate covers - ILLEGAL da daaaaa

ok, so I understand now, why the plate covers can be an issue,
but the dealer trims, don't cover the numbers or tag (or rather shouldnt) I understand that they are still "technically illegal"

On my drive home yesterday I saw at least 2 cars with blue tinted covers, and 90% of the cars had dealer trims the rest had nothing.

At the end of the day ...

on the news; license plate covers - ILLEGAL da daaaaa

I've seen cars all over with either a full plastic cover, or the dealer trims, In fact I gotta dealer trim recently.

People sometimes use the full clear plastic to protect the plate, especially if its a vanity plate... whats the issue?

also anther question (to the police on the board)

can't see why a cop will book you for an offence, take the time and trouble to do the paperwork and then offer to " and that he wont refute it. Meaning he may lean on my side to support me"

Re: First speeding ticket will my insurance increase?

forgiveness is for accidents only, not for tickets,
I checked this a while ago,
Although depending on your insurance and what buisiness you have with them yadda yadda yadda it could go either way
