Interesting case. I believe they can arrest or charge you anywhere if they really sure about it, for example if the Robber ran into that house, they don't need warrant to enter that house to catch that Robber, they will break in ! Cops sometimes happy sometimes miserable,

usually they won't act tough if you don't act weird they won't use force if ...

If cops came to the scene you can't win this ticket, you should have dealt with other driver and not involve the insurance company nor Cops, Insurance will do an internal investigate if there wasn't cop involved otherwise they will Judge by the police reports, there are drivers DO FRAUD INSURANCE in Ontario, you better becareful.

I've seen a light go from green to red, but it was because the bulb was blown out for yellow on both (other side had a yellow.)

Blown bulb won't show any light at 3-5 seconds at the time, Red light turns from RED to Yellow or Green in 1 second, the Yellow Light which is Amber Warning give you 3-5 seconds warning before it goes RED, i'm not ...

If there was no amber light, then clearly you had no warning that it was going to change to red and could not slow down. This is also very dangerous as this is not how lights are supposed to operate.

I would fight the ticket and take the video with you to court. Make sure you put the video on an external USB stick and bring a laptop that it will ...

Highway 7 is maintained by York Region. If the amber light at that intersection isn't working pleas report it to the Road Maintenance Department.

Cops do pull you over for over 10km/h too, depend on their mood, you never overtake or pass Police Cruiser, they are human like us, lemme ask you, if someone passes you and stay in front of your car do you like that ? i get annoy when someone pass me and stay in front of me slowing down etc.

For red light camera tickets, it is the OWNER of the vehicle that is charged not the driver, so there are no demerits and no insurance increase.
