Re: Construction zone - no speed limit posted

If the 80 KPH signs were made by some construction company and do not meet the regulation size, etc., the speed limit would still be 100 KPH.

Have someone take a picture of the 80 KPH signs and compare it to the regulations.

Re: Failing to stop for a school bus questions

If an officer shows up at your door, you definitely want to exercise your right to remain silent.
Be polite and say you're not interested in answering any questions .... period.

Re: Failed to stop for school bus

If you happened to be going in the opposite direction to the bus and there was a raised median, you actually don't have to stop.

Re: 49 km/h over & fail to surrender permit MV- First Offens

Speed limit signs that are installed by construction companies in construction zones often do not conform to the prescribed regulation size.

How would someone demonstrate to a Justice Of The Peace that the dimensions are wrong, when there is no safe way to stop and measure the sign in a construction zone ?

Also, in this person's case, they are ...

Re: Valid Motorcycle Insurance

I'm no expert, but .....

Your USA insurance provider probably issued your policy based upon the rating area that you live in (US address).

You may void the policy if you fail to notify them that you have moved out of that rating area.

At that point, they may cancel your policy because you are now living in a rating area that they don't insure in ...

In my opinion, the best light for motorcycle conspicuity is made by SKENE DESIGN. Google "Photon Blaster".
They pulsate just enough to catch a driver's eye, but not enough to really be much of a distraction.

The law of physics that allows an airplane to take off is the same law that causes the lifting of flat objects in the back of a pick-up.
The air moves faster over the top surface than the bottom surface, thereby creating "lift".
That's why you often see drywall all over the road.
You must tie it down.

Just lay little strips of paper across the personal info and take a picture with your phone. Shouldn't need a scanner.

Re: School bus stopping question

HTA clearly states that the bus must be stopped (as soon as the wheels stop rotating, the stop signs flip-out and they begin flashing). You are not required to stop for a school bus that is driving along with the top red lights flashing.
