135 In A 100 - Officer Didn't Give Me A Ticket

Unread post by Keyplo33 »

The other day I was pulled over for the first time going 135 in a 100. The officer took my license, insurance and registration to his car, sat in it for about a minute and then came back, handed me my things and said it's your lucky day I have to go. Does this mean I am not getting any ticket?

Technically the officer has 6 months to charge you, but since he said it's your lucky day it sounds more like he just decided to let you go. I wouldn't worry about it.

Best way to avoid speeding tickets -- don't speed.

Yes COULD still give you a ticket within 6 months but most likely officer wont be bothered.
