Fax/address Of Attorney Generals?

by: Kurt_ on

Hi. I'm filing a form 4F and have hit a bit of a snag. The addresses on the most recent form I can find (April 11, 2012) don't match up with information I dug up on google.

Google:

The Attorney General of Ontario (as required by section 109 of the Courts of Justice Act)

The McMurtry-Scott Building

11th floor

720 Bay Street

Toronto, Ontario M5G 2K1

fax: (416) 326-4007

Form 4F default:

The Attorney General of Ontario (as required by section 109 of the Courts of Justice Act)

Constitutional Law Branch

4th floor

720 Bay Street

Toronto, Ontario M5G 2K1

fax: (416) 326-4015

In addition, I can't find the attorney general of canada's information.

Basically, my question is which number is the correct number to fax this to? the possibly correct and more recent -4007, or the 2 year old -4015 on the latest form?

For the Ontario Attorney General you want to fax it to the Constitutional Law Branch at 416-326-4015. The other number you have is the general inquiries number, where as you want to send your 4F specifically to the Constitutional Law Branch with in the Ministry.

I couldn't find the fax number for the Ontario Regional office for the Attorney General of Canada but I did find their regular telephone number which is 416-973-0942, so I would call the number, tell them what you are doing, and ask them where you should fax your 4F to.

Thanks for your help. I can use all that I can get.

The number on the form for Canada is:

The Attorney General of Canada

Suite 3400, Exchange Tower

Box 36, First Canadian Place

Toronto, Ontario, M5X 1K6

fax: (416) 952-0298

But I suppose I'll call monday morning to confirm before I submit all my forms and go to the courthouse to submit the rest.

As it is now, these are the people at the bottom of my 4F:
