Disobey Sign Hta 182(2) - Convicted Today

by: bpassand on

Hello,

I was convicted today (not of disobey sign), but of a lesser charge of $60 and no demerit points (my initial charge was disobey sign).

My question is regarding payment. Do I use (reference) the original ticket when paying the $60 fine?? The court did not issue a new ticket or specify the new charge. They gave me a green sheet of paper that explains the breakdown of the "surgarges" and how to pay and said it's now $60.

Please let me know if I have posted in the wrong section since this is regarding payment...

Thanks

If you were found guilty or pled guilty to another offence your ticket number will not change.

If you are paying online just follow instructions and enter your ticket # as well as Icon code (4 digit number at the top left of ticket) and process the payment.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I pled guilty to another charge. Makes sense - I will reference the original ticket number. Wanted to check, as I've never previously paid a ticket.

Thanks,
