i went to that link and the only option i had was to pay $2 to see if the license is valid. So i paid the 2 bucks to see, all it says is i have a valid license... I too would like to know if i have any points.

The federal government is considering tough new legislation that would allow police to perform random breathalyzer tests on drivers, whether they suspect the person has been drinking or not.

This would be a horrible law.

its not the fines that worry. They want to cut a deal and take his license for 6 months or more. There was no bill of sale written at the time. I didnt give him one til he paid the car off.

Sounds like you did something to piss him off and he was going to just keep looking 'till he found something to ticket you on. Used to happen to me until I learned how to NOT argue back. Be respectful. Use all the manners mom taught you as a kid. Seems to work much better ;)
