Re: insufficient data on speeding ticket.
TC...speaking of face value of a PON. What about the signature? I have two ways of thinking on this.
1) Sign the top copy, identical signature is complete thru each layer of the PON, thus all are original and identical
or
2) Rip out the defendants copy and sign it in ink, then sign the top of the PON, thru the remaining copies. But does this then ...

Re: HTA172 and police conduct
Now this is a neat question i have for hwybear. What would the court do if you argue you were only going 30 over because everyone else was going 120 km/h?.
I do not know that. I have heard the usual going with "the flow" blah blah blah defence heard in court thou, with a conviction still at the clocked speed. JP basically indicated that just b/c ...

Re: Explanation of "I intend to challenge" phrase plea
I got a ticket 3+ years ago in another province. No tickets in ontario ever.
I do intend to get there early to speak to the prosecutor, but do I check the INTEND TO CHALLENGE? or not?
You have to tick the 'Intend to Challenge", so that they can schedule you in court. 3+ years is for insurance only, that ticket can be seen by officers for ever ...

Re: Explanation of "I intend to challenge" phrase plea
If i show up at the given trial date early, don't get that opportunity to speak to the prosecutor then?
I have no idea how to answer the "intend to challenge" checkbox if i indeed check option 3.
Check option 3 and talk to the prosocuter before the trial. If they agree to what you're asking they will do all the talking. Is your record clean?

Re: insufficient data on speeding ticket.
Your address can be fixed in court. If the location of the infraction is wrong then you have a case to have the ticket thrown out.

Re: Cruise control and speeding?
Cruise control is ok. The speed on your speedo isn't accurate anyway..... not worth a damn as far as court goes. You will need to mention the TL though......scorchedmoon wrote:the only thing i mentioned to the police officer was have a nice new years...
now my next question is, if he doesnt mention the TL in his argument where does that leave me and
