Re: Out of town trial, no disclosure, trial April 11?
Just because you haven't received disclosure doesn't mean they are not going to run the trial. Have nobody show up and watch the conviction appear on you record.

He can use his plates as long as the validation is current and he no longer owns the car the plates came from. This really isn't your concern though and its his problem if hes doung something illegal. As for the insurance it's his responsibility also. Make sure you purchase a used vehicle information package at the ministry. If you want to feel ...

Re: Drivers License Medical Suspension (Due to Police Report
I don't know if its possible to request the form that is filled out for the drivers licence review. You must state the reason why you believe the driver is a hazard and give an explanation. You could also try filing a freedom of information request regarding this with the police service. Abuse of this review puts a bad name on those of use that use ...

After the seven days have passed you can go to the ministry and get your licence back after paying a $150 reinstatement fee and you can get your car back after paying the impound fees for the seven days. Nothing will get anything back sooner.

Re: DUI with G1
This is just a rant and no way advice. How about people take responsibility for their actions. You drink and drive, you get caught, you pay the price. If its a straight to the point saying "I'm not doing the test" and the only defense is the grounds of the vehicle stop and demand, stop trying to find mistakes in procedure and waste courts time ...

Re: Car pool lane mistake
Many people do make honest mistakes but not meaning to do something doesn't give you an excuse. Going to trial and admitting you were in that lane and solo is admitting guilt. So unless it didn't happen the way you said then then charge is not going to disappear.

There isn't another fitting charge in this case. You can take it to court as its your right but don't expect to receive something better.

I would go to early resolution and see if they'd go with #1 and drop the other two. Charge #2 is iffy unless the police vehicle was further down the road then the picture is being painted.

Re: failure todrive in a marked lane charge after crash
Classic case of follow too close. If the person in front of you avoided a collision by whatever means and you couldn't do so with that extra car length now given to you, I would even stretch this to careless. So those who think points are important, careless has six, follow too close has four, and fail to drive in marked lane has three.
