Re: red light camera offence ticket
Peel Region has been using the wrong ticket since the beginning of the year. Basically every red light camera ticket they issue is invalid. I am currently in court trying to get a ruling but it's been deferred to August. But that shouldn't stop you from making the same argument.

Cop Shades
Police officer all seem to wear Sunglasses.
Are these offical parts of there uniform? Or are there shades more of a "cop culture" thing?
If it's a culture thing are there any regulations around which ones they can use, since they all seem to use a similiar style?

Re: Help - Section 74(1) No Clear View to the Front
I hope it's going to be that easy, but I suspect it will not be. I'm going to file to my Option 3 today.Reflections wrote:The question is, did the officer ever look through the windsheild from the drivers point of view....no.....not guilty.
Unless I get another response I'll check back when I get my court date and need to file for disclosure.

Re: Help - Section 74(1) No Clear View to the Front
This charge is hard to be enforced, as you are not supposed to idle for more than one minute (also a law). Therefore, to use the car's heater to melt the frost and wait idling 3-4 minutes, which is illegal
That's a great piece of information, what provincial law act is this? I looked up local anti-idling bylaw and it's 5 minutes, so it may not ...

I'm not certain if this is the best place to post this but I couldn't find a better spot.
This morning I got pulled over about a block from my house and received a ticket under section 74(1) - No Clear View to the Front, and I'm wondering what my odds of beating it are.
