  • Trials are usually held last. I am in London & have an actual appointment with a time frame of 45 mins. Is this not customary? Then the Crown will present their case. You may cross-examine each of the witnesses as required. They go first and if I do…

  • What can I expect at court?
My date is May 4th and I am defending myself with no previous court experience. I know I will be at the table to the left. Do I let the prosecutor and/or JP lead the case? I have no independent witnesses, but I am assuming the officer and the 2 others inv…

  • Ticket was received after the fact at trial. Was given a summons to appear in court to receive the ticket 1 month later. I am planning on going to court and have the prosecution prove my guilt.

  • How do they prove you were the driver?
Just wondering how the prosection goes about proving who was the driver at trial. If I tell the officer I was driving the black car is that sufficient proof or is that hearsay or does it have to be discussed in court. Just curious.

I'm charged with follow too close. Just wondering about court proceedings. I have some defense stategies, but I will not be getting on the stand in defence of myself. How does court work? Do I interview witnesses or does the prosecutor go first. I assume …

In my disclosure statement an accident report is present. The diagram makes no sense. There is a drawing of the road on which the accident happened and all 3 of the vehicles are indicated on the diagram. The diagram includes some measurements of the inter…

  • Just wondering how I would go about arguing this case. In their statements the witnesses in the forward vehicles did not see me coming so therefore no mention of distances etc. My theory is, that, a unit of measure or notification there-of need be noted.…

  • ticket errors
Are they allowed to use short forms for street names ie Westdel Brne instead of Westdel Bourne? The rest of the world spells the street name as "Beechnut" but the MTO spells it "Beachnut". Is this considered an error enough to elimina…
