I leasing my vehicle for the first time[always owned before] and signed my ownership. Now that the vehicle is owned by the leasing company-do I still sign the plate portion? I have looked in Highway Traffic Act but cannot find the section-Can anyone help. Thanks in Advance!!

Signing of Plate portion of the ownership
Re: Signing of Plate portion of the ownership
The plate portion is the only portion that can be signed, so, yes. You have to sign it.

Re: Signing of Plate portion of the ownership
You may be leasing the vehicle, but you aren't leasing your plates. So yes you will need to sign it. The plates are yours and should have your name on the plate portion of the permit, and the leasing company's name on the vehicle portion.
