The date was the 11th I'm pretty sure but not going to guess and play around with the time, so who do I contact to get the date/time again? Also, if the time is too close to a midterm that I have, is it possible to reschedule my court date? And if so, how difficult would it be to do so? Do I have to prove that there's a time conflict or can it easily be done?

Re: Lost my court notice sheet, who do I contact? and...
Call the court house where your case is at. They'll tell you your court dates. Otherwise, the prosecutor's office will tell you.
As for seeking an adjournment, you need to serve a Notice of Application for Adjournment on the prosecutor's office (each jurisdiction has their own template form), in addition to filing it with the court. You can get these forms at the court house. You will then be given a motion date so that you or an agent can attend court to request the adjournment. That's usually the difficult part----someone actually needs to attend court to seek the adjournment. Of course, any adjournments YOU request are also time that is counted against you---should you ever wish to raise any 11b arguments down the road.
Re: Lost my court notice sheet, who do I contact? and...
So I contacted the courthouse and they looked up my license number and my full name, we checked multiple times that no mistake was made over the phone and she found nothing in the system.... She then said it's absolutely not normal or common for this to occur.
What does this mean?

Crashed Car Into Hydro Pole
I basically had a car crash. I'm a young driver under 21. I was driving from work. Had a cold, long shift, didn't eat too much (due to the cold), was working in a cold environment which didn't aid the cold. So I felt nausea while driving and felt like vomiting. My car started to slide to the left…
Disobey sign and Obscure interior of vehicle.
I was speeding. 73 in 50km. The officer charged me with disobey sign. I was coming from a 80km zone where you go down a hill, up a hill then down a hill. the 50km zone starts at the top of the hill. He got me just passed the sign coming down the hill. Is there a set distance from the 50km ahead…
Careless driving incident
Let me start this off by saying I'm a new driver (got my G2 around June). Anyway, I was taking a left turn at a yellow, got t-boned and as a result automatically at fault. (I don't personally believe this but don't feel like disputing that now). Damage was pretty big, both cars are going to get…
Summons Issued to Owner of vehicle, NOT Driver....wtf???
Ok so heres the deal on this one:
A family member calls me today concerned and crying
. Well apperently her husband was driving his truck which had an expired sticker. Pretty simple right? NO!
Officer further discovers that he was also driving the vehicle without insurance. I know, pretty bad…
Has anyone had their speeding ticket revised to the original
Keep reading that the prosecutor has the option to amend the ticket in cases of speeding back to the original charge if it had been reduced originally. Has any one actually had this occur or is it a scare tactic of the prosecutors?

12hr vs 3 day Suspension
***I MOVED this quote...as it does not fall under street racing*****

First ticket ever - Failure to Stop - How to proceed?
Good morning everyone!
This morning I was on Lakeshore, exiting on to the Gardiner at Jameson. I drive a Honda Fit and was directly behind a large cube van. As I went through the intersection, once the cube van stopped hiding the lights, I noticed that the light was yellow.
Just as I got on to the…
Failure to Stop - Notice of Trial
So this is my first ticket and I got this in September 2013 for failing to stop at the stop sign. I believe that I did stop, however the officer proceeded to hand me the ticket. I decided to go to trial and received notice of trial in a couple of days. Now my court date in tomorrow and I'm…
Pursuit rating of non-domestic vehicles
Are any non-domestic vehicles "pursuit-rated" in North America? Also have the Michigan State Police (this is relevant because apparently they have the most accepted selection/testing process) tested any of them to see if they meet their criteria? Just curious...
