Driving record abstract while tickets under appeal

Unread post by vflicks »

Hello all. I have two tickets that have been accepted for appeal. My appeal date is Nov. 12. Unfortunately, the original convictions now reside on my abstract and is playing havoc with my insurance. I am very confident I will the appeals. But, does anyone know if my abstract should be cleared while waiting for the appeal, or do the convictions stand until the appeal, and thus reside on my abstract. All fines have been deferred and my license has been reinstated while waiting for the appeal. -vflicks

I would say they stay until the appeal has been won, simply because you have been convicted and that conviction does not get erased until proven otherwise....

I think they stay on with a notation that they are under appeal.
