I got the disclosure from the prosecutor office 1 page from the officer, 2 pages from the Genesis 2 manual showing the 8.1 test and 8.2 road test. I was travel north west on 4 lanes highway speed limit 80km. There was another car side by side with me . The officer was south east bound. It was 6:35 AM (complete dark). Highway has no street light and sunrise was not until 7:36 (weather web site). The officer made U turn and stop me. At first he said he clocked me at 182 but went he got back to give me the ticket (at 6:51) he show me 157/80 (stunt driving). He said due to my clean record, he dropped it to 129/80. If anyone can help me understand the note so I can prepare for the trial on 22/01/2016. Also I welcome any suggestion, advice... Thank you Ticket.jpg police note.jpg

Okay so even if there is a mention of this other vehicle you do not really know how officer will testify about it. You have a great question... How can officer identify the vehicles when there are just headlights? Also how can officer estimate speed in the dark? And if it was radar, it can not identify a specific vehicle as to which one would have been speeding if there were two in the beam. But again, without experience in court, you will most likely lose.

The officer will say that your car was passing the other vehicle (white sedan?), as well, the radar would have shown your reading, not the slower vehicles. Between the officer's visual observation and the radar reading, things look really good for the prosecution.

I'm a bit confused here. The points may go down but the price may go up? These fines are set, and so are the points. Did you get an adjournment, did they amend the charge up to stunt?
