hello, my licence was suspended for an unpaid speeding ticket in 2009. In 2010 I was convicted on driving under suspension in absentia; the case was in Wawa Ontario and I live in Hamilton. Last year I made an effort to pay down the fine and get my licence re-instated but came up short. I am a student and a single parent. Just today I was stopped fo making an illegal left and given a court summons for driving while under suspension. What can I do to reduce the charge/possible fine? From my research already it seems like if I pay everything down I might be able to get the charge reduced. Would this help? Any advice would help Thank you
