Unless the cruisers get expensive deep-cycle batteries, they wouldn't want to run them down constantly as that will quickly kill the battery (five or six cycles will destroy a lead-acid starter battery).


I do hear of cruisers running out of juice, though. I remember one a while back that ran down the battery from the light bar and happened to be parked very close to some train tracks. Train came and took it out. :oops:
