Suspected Mileage Tampering After Used Car Purchase

Unread post by Creggerj »

Hello,

I'll keep this short and please direct me to the right sub Category.

Bought a car with a claim on it. After 2 weeks I figured out that the gauge cluster was swapped. The dealer can't exactly specify ECU mileage .

There is no sticker or declaration that the entire dash has been swapped out.

Who should I speak to about this. And is there anything worth pursuing ? I suspect maybe the mileage is correct but the cluster was definitely swapped.

Thanks for your help!

I would contact the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council. They regulate car sales in Ontario and enforce consumer protection legislation when it involves the sale of cars.
