Re: High contrast glasses at night

Re: High contrast glasses at night

On unlit streets, I sometimes drive at night wearing high-contrast glasses (you may know them as shooting glasses) to highlight lane markings, shadows, and, during a snowstorm, where the two tire tracks on the road are.

Are there any legal ramifications of doing this? The light transmittance of these amber glasses are around 75%, compared to ...

Re: disclosure and witnesses

Looks like a lot of errors were made.

Since a collision was involved, witnesses must be present at trial. If they do not show up, case dismissed. You can rip cop's "evidence" in shreds given his/her mistakes in notes and accident reports, as they are inconsistent with each other. Write a detailed account of what had happened to you as you were ...

I thought UWaterloo engineers were also allergic to the sun given how much time they spend in the basement of Rod Coutts Hall, or in the confines of CPH!

Thanks also goes to everyone who participated in the voting process, and those who read the announcement. I can hardly disagree with the sentiment that all candidates would be an excellent ...

I'm 183 cm and weigh 82 kg.

This is not just Europe. Anywhere outside the North America (except, perhaps, the UK), you will get a metric answer.

Re: Is this for real?

This would tell me that perhaps someone was being rushed to the hospital and they either did not have time, or did not think, to call paramedics.

In America, it takes less time for a pizza to get to your house than for a paramedic team!

Just the fact that the officer did not realize that the guy stopped right at the hospital's parking lot, wasn ...

Re: safe highway merge

Perhaps a minimum speed limit would have to be applied here? I mean slowing down even from 100 to 60 because someone afraid of going 100 is still quite a bit. In Europe minimum speed limit is quite common on their roads. There are plenty of alternative routes to be considered if one is unable to go the speed limit of 400-series.

What is worse ...
