Ontario Highway Traffic Act

So recently I rear ended someone, but not hard at all. We were stopped at a red light. I let my foot off the brakes, rolled forward and accidentally hit the person in front of me very lightly. There were no damages but the guy still called the cops.

The cop gave me a ticket as "Started in stop - not in safety", fined me $110 and 2 demerit points ...
