Re: Different speed limits on each direction of the road
I don't see a problem getting it knocked down to 12kph over they seem to offer 15 and no points right off the bat here.Be sure to request a meeting with the prosecutor when you fill out the paperwork if you want to go that rout.If you can make a deal with him you will be sent into the courtroom right away to plead guilty to the lesser charge.I was ...

Re: Different speed limits on each direction of the road
I would wait for Reflections or someone else to get back to you as he/they surely know the drill better than me.I just wanted to point out how sneaky the system is in Windsor and how they commonly drop the charge the second you sit down with the prosecutor as many of my friends and myself have had the same ticket right down to the speed in the same ...

Re: Different speed limits on each direction of the road
What some officers do in Windsor is just plain wrong. You have just been introduced to one of the many fishing holes set up by our wonderful city, the speed trap capital of Ontario as described in Windsor star article two weeks ago.It is a well known fact that they post varying speed limits on our roads for no reason.Without saying a word your ticket ...

Re: Random stops
"Just curious: Are you afraid that the government is about to bust your door down and haul you off to the gulag for making that post?"
Only if the Liberals get back in power.I have confidence it will be late October before they figure out there's an election.Their too busy trying to change peoples habits during peak hours. That way he can sell more ...

Re: Random stops
I would have no problem with either of those situations. What I'm talking about is being pulled over to check insurance for no other reason than going down the street while abiding the law.For instance I would not expect to be stopped at random just because of the time of day or night or because I have a fast car or bike. I have always had a good ...

Re: Random stops
Absolutely not your assumption is unfounded.I have but one minor speeding ticket In the last 21yrs.It's a question that came up on another board and I disagree with the practice as it permits profiling which is why they can't do it in the US.This more or less makes it a police state In my opinion. Why should a person come under police scrutiny ...

Re: A loud exhaust message from Harley Davidson
Old post but....
There is no study in existence with regards to whether loud pipes save lives or not and that is a fact the only two recognized studies on motorcycle fatalities are the Maids and Hurt report and neither address noise.
I have never modified the factory pipes or installed aftermarket pipes on any of my bikes in the last 30yrs.A month ...

Re: Is this running an amber light?
The day you watch some one get rear ended and snap there neck in two over the top of a poorly adjusted head rest is the day you start rethinking about jamming on your brakes at an amber with a car closing fast. How many people check there headrest before driving the away,I do.
