With regard to "applying pressure" to the court, never forget that your tickets are a few out of thousands, and nobody at the court or the police agency is going to be stressed out about your trial.
Just go by the book. Any shenanigans you pull can only serve to hurt you down the road.

Re: Just got slapped with a Careless Driving/Speeding two-fe
Start by pleading not guilty and requesting disclosure. Once you have that come back and post it here
With that information the users of this board can assist you with assessing the merits of the case and what your best options may be.

Re: Failing to stop for a School Bus
Did you provide your ID to the bus driver? If not, Any ticket you receive would be as the owner of the vehicle and would not have demerit points.

Did you cross examine the officer? If not why not? If you failed to do so, that is not grounds for an appeal.

To address some of your comments:
-You said " I don't know if I was speeding". In other words, you cannot say that you were NOT speeding. Your entire defense then that you THINK you weren't speeding based on some back of the napkin calculations based on google maps and your eyeballing of dashcam footage vs. the police speed measuring device (which ...

Did you submit a disclosure request to the crown or just an FOI request to the RCMP?

Re: Parking ticket not properly served?
I doubt this argument will work. The way you were served is not explicitly permitted in the regulation, it is permitted to be sent by regular mail, which is ultimately not a heck of a lot different from how you received it.
