Received a ticket last night for improper left turn. Have an umblemished driving record. Going to seek trial option, hoping to reduce fine amount and demerit points. Any advice for court appearance?

Received a ticket last night for improper left turn. Have an umblemished driving record. Going to seek trial option, hoping to reduce fine amount and demerit points. Any advice for court appearance?

Definitely wear a tie, wear something that makes you look professional. It really does make a difference. That said, can you tell us what happened exactly? Was the ticket issued because of a collision? Also, have you made a disclosure request to get the evidence against you?
