Fog light film

Unread post by hudson18 »

I just purchased a set of fog light film for my new vehicle. I never use the fog lights, and I thought it would be nice to make them blend with my car. I got the blue Lamin-x film, which is gives them a light blue look while off, but in the pictures I have found and posted, still look white when on. I understand that these are blue lights on a vehicle, however, because they light up white, are they legal? Thank you.

Re: Fog light film

It has been mentioned before that as long as the light emitted from the lamp is white, you are ok. I think your idea is perfectly fine, and should be an example of how to modify without being illegal.

Thank you for your reply! I thought it was legal, however, I think I just needed reassurance from people who understand these things much better than myself.
