“Careless Driving How To..(no Collision) Where To Go Next.”

Hello all,

I was driving in the right lane under a bridge the on ramp merge lane was ending I left an individual in taking away my ability to stop in time as we were moving at a good speed. Since I let him in he hits the breaks for something I couldn't see up ahead. I used the shoulder to attempt to stop but there was a police officer parked rather then hitting him I pulled across the shoulder across the other on ramp and parked. So here we are. I requested disclosure today's my court date is still no in my hands so I'm requesting a delay. What are my next options.
