Request For Resolution
I was given two tickets, one for speeding at 130 km/h in a 100 km/h zone and one for Failure to Provide Insurance Card on the 401 E in Cornwall. I was sent my notice of trial and along came a Request For Resolution. I was wondering what exactly happens when you file for a Request For Resolution. How likely are you to have the fine reduced? It also says a brief written statement fully explaining the matter can be submitted. What should I include in this statement? Also, will the prosecutor use this statement against me if my tickets are not resolved?
