Hey, Sorry if this has been posted before and I'm sure it has, I'm just looking for a couple straight answers regarding my situation. This is my first conviction so please bare with me. I got a ticket for careless driving because of my stupidity on September 10th 2012 and just got my court date for August 26th 2013. this is exactly 16 days after my rights to a speedy court date within 11 months as stated in the 11B. Now I was curious, should I file the 11B ASAP or closer to the date it self? My worrys are if I file it sooner they will arange a date earlier than the 11 month period. And finally I read the "How to File a 11B" thread and some very helpful info in there, but once I submit it, are they obligated to drop the charges giving that I do meet the qualifications of the 11B? Sorry if this is a little unclear, I just want to get this out there now just in case I have to file this ASAP. Please post below regarding some help, it will be highly appreciated.
